Hi everyone! I just wanted to share to you all that my TFS videos were featured on Bakitwhy's Blog section on August 20, 2009. It's really flattering to know that my videos somehow reach out to others and make their day. A Bakitwhy contributer by the name of Jonathan Hernandez has written a blog about the videos:

"I was recently surfing through YouTube as I usually do for no less than 10 hours a day and came across quite a find. A YouTube user by the name of Kits is a Pilipino-American vlogger/actor in the mold of HappySlip who loves to cater to his Pinoy audience (and non-Pinoy audience as well, because regardless of your ethnicity, his videos are just mad funny) through his unique and very professionally acted video skits. He recently began his own Pilipino drama, aptly titled "The Filipino Soap", in which he hilariously parodies and over-exagerrates the generic corny-ness and over-dramatic silliness that can be found in most every Pilipino drama. Just like HappySlip, he's a one man show (er, one woman for her) who plays a variety of different characters - and plays them all really well. What's most refreshing about Kits is that he speaks tagalog fluently in his drama and uses it not only as a way to educate his audience in the Pilipino language, but also as an added tool in heightening the overall humor. Because let's be honest, everything is so much funnier when that Pinoy accent and sentimentality, and those familiar teleserye-like tagalog phrases all come forth. It really doesn't get much better than a dramatically heated fight between rivals spoken entirely in Tag-lish.

Tumawa ka na! Translacion: These videos are hilarious, so laugh already! (not a direct translation). They so brilliantly capture the smallest intricacies of what makes Pilipino culture and media so humorous and unique - especially for those who might normally watch such dramas with fanatically straight faces (although I've always laughed regardless, sorry). All I know is, by the end of this drama, I was crying too... with tears of laughter. And for those of you who have any sort of experience with Pilipino TV, you will be cry-laughing as well while also continually yelling 'SO TRUE!' at the screen. And if somehow you manage to not even crack a smile after watching these videos, well then...*Slap*"

Hi everyone! It's been so long since I have written here on my blog site. As you know, our personal lives can get in the way and we have priorities to take care of so we have to do what we have to do. Anyway, I wanted to share to you guys how moved and inspired I am lately. I know film making takes so much and it's such a big production but I have a lot pending and my mind is just full of creativity flowing. ^_^ We should always celebrate the Gift of Creativity.

Right now, I am still currently working on the Mini YouTube Gathering I had thrown on the 11th of July. I'm trying to find ways on how I'll be presenting that video. I'm probably going to just make it simple and presentable. I'm hoping to put that out real soon. Also, I've been working with a lot of collaborators. Like I had mentioned before, I wanted to do collaborations with different people this season and it's really exciting to have them participate on my videos. I can't wait to put them up! =D I wanted to let you all know how excited I am in working on these upcoming projects!

By the way, this September, I have an interview coming up for this internet web show and I'm really psyched about that. I'll give more details later on. During that moment, anyone can participate and call during that interview. There's still so much editing to do for Behind The Videos. I will definitely work on them soon and put them up on www.youtube.com/ItsCreativeSoul. With all these haps, we always have to do one thing at a time. Keep yourselves stress free and enjoy life guys! Hi guys. At this moment I have been focusing on the new forthcoming videos. I've been preparing costumes, characters, and rebuilding sets that didn't push through last season. This season I've been also planning on doing collaborations with different people. Never thought It'd be challenging especially having new people involved in your videos. I've been getting ideas in my head and scribbling down ideas for collaborations. We'll see how this whole thing goes.

The current "TFS - The Filipino Soap video got lots of feedback and I'm possibly continuing the series later on. Right now I'm just balancing everything that I do with work, personal life, etc..

Hey guys! I had these clips for a while on my Behind The Videos YouTube site on http://www.youtube.com/ItsCreativeSoul. Thought I'd also share that here on my blog since this is about Behind The Scenes and Extras. These are original Behind The Videos for Devozione and Negativity found on my original channel at: http://www.youtube.com/xcreativexsoulx.

The story of Devozione began when I got inspired by the Gucci cologne commercial as well as other brand name perfumes. Devozione means Devotion in italian.

The inspiration for it is for devotion to our Lord. The charm around the cologne it is actually a rosary my Aunt got me from Italy. I wanted it to be a subliminal message for those who understand what it's possibly about.

The idea of Negativity comes from our negative thoughts that come through our mind. I had this interpretation of putting negativity in human form. I wanted to show everyone what it does to us and I know people can relate and understand as we go along the video. When it arrives we usually try to shove the thoughts away. And I wanted to do a meaningful music video with a lil' bit of comedy.

The inspiration for the make-up came from Silent Hill. The nurses had veins sort of popping out so I designed negativity to be this way. Ideal look has to be freaky since negativity is bad and nobody wants it around so that's where that whole idea came from.

Hey guys! Once again I had configured the settings to make my widescreen better without the black borders. Although the black borders were nice, I realized that I still wanted that full widescreen look. My friend Archie, Gasang1 on YouTube gave me a great source in order to upload my vids in High Definition with the right size for widescreen. I went on many tutorials on YouTube but didn't get exactly how I want my videos to be until now. I used this screen shot from my editor on how my 4 characters may look once It's uploaded on YouTube:

Happy New Year everyone! Hope everyone's having a great start this new year. Since It's another fresh beginning, I finally decided to change the xcreativexsoulx logo for this new year. I found that my old one was really too plain and just letters typed at once with x's thrown in the beginning, middle, and end which makes it less creative. I felt this new logo is a reflection of who I really am. Basically just changed the "R" and the "O" yet you can see a big difference. Me representing the letter "I" is just temporary. Again, just for artistic and design purposes. =D But I'm really loving this new logo. Hopefully one day I'll have mugs made and T-shirts with varieties of design. At this moment, still waiting it out. It'll be great once that really comes out. I was going to do a behind the video on the new logo but that may or may not happen depending on time and mood. Anyway, I'm wishing everybody the best this new year. Remember to keep loving and appreciating people that love you. Sometimes we realize, that they are the ones there for us and it just shows how special these people are in our lives. =D Love you all and God Bless you.

Hello everyone. I just thought about vlogging/blogging about Tiredness. I know each and everyone of us have our lives and we have to get things done but I thought hey, I can also put a little positivity about being tired. Ok, weird right? But I guess what I was trying to put out here is that we may be tired but we can't confess/say or claim it all the time. It may be a little hard for others to interpret what I'm trying to say but, usually when we complain about everyday life that's how It's going to be throughout our lives if we keep thinking the same thing.
