Hi everyone,

A month ago I had gone to a Zorse Ranch in San Diego called Hearts & Hands Animal Rescue. Living to it's name, there were several zebras, horses, zorses and other unique and unusual animals. What makes this experience really refreshing is you get to be close to these animals.

As soon as I arrived, this was the first thing that I saw. A pen full of zebras! I was really excited and knew I wanted to see more on the ranch.

I had the opportunity to take a picture with the zebra. Keep in mind these are wild animals. You have to be a bit distant away from them. Zebras are known to be 10x more powerful than a horse. And usually, horses are way easier to domesticate than these zebras.

I was trying to be brave petting this zebra, they really bite and pull you.

Zebras can't be around kids since they are dangerous. But this one specifically was trained to be ridden by the girl in this picture. The key is to be their friend first before you actually ride them. Not anyone can just ride zebras. It's a process of befriending the animal first.

This horse was rescued from pitbulls. There were several dogs gnawing and chewing on the horse's snout which explains why this poor horse' gums and teeth are exposed. I felt bad for the little fellah.

I also saw these cute little birds. They look quite unique. Almost like chickens but you can see they have a different body and spots. You can see these throughout the ranch.

A few pictures I took of the zebras.

I found out this day that Llamas are related to camels. You can tell by their face. I got a chance to be close to a really cute camel named Aria. She is actually featured on the video relating to this blog. Made my whole day even more exciting! :)

Anyway you can see more from this video. :) Thanks for reading and watching my little adventure guys! Be posting more updates soon!

Hello everyone,

This past weekend I had gone to Sacramento for a family trip. It was quite a spontaneous one and truly was a celebration of life. Not going much into details but it was just nice to see extended family members.

The trip was quite challenging though because it was a stormy day. We're talking heavy rains and thunder, and even winds!

As you can see in these photos, it's quite gloomy outside and in the distance you can even see rain pouring which was quite amazing!

Of course I wasn't going to pass on having a little Starbucks DOUBLE SHOT ESPRESSO during the trip. Stopped by one of the gas stations and I immediately had to get myself one. I mean a 7 hour trip truly is a long way. Hehe..

Just me during the car ride to Sacramento. Gotta manage a smile on a 7 hour trip.

Anyway, I wish I could have covered more but this trip was mainly focusing on family and other personal things. But sometimes, I like giving you guys a little extra updates on what's going on with CreativeSoul. hehe.. I hope you guys are well. And more blogs to be published real soon!

Hello guys,

Looks like I was finally able to write and post another video here on my blog. I finally moved to a new place which gives me full control of producing more content for YouTube. It was honestly tough producing when I was at the other place. It was a really nice pad but it was just difficult to appreciate because of the space and room sharing. I constantly had to ask permission to the people in the room with me to be able to film. At the same time, I would feel bad for asking the favor. I just didn't want to kick anyone out of the bedroom. :P But yes, finally have my own little space at the new place. There are still some things I gotta work on since this will take a lot of effort to do and times during weekends. So much to accomplish still. But in due time, once everything is set, I can continue filming here and just have time to write more blogs for behind the scenes, and extras. Whew..

Here are a few photos showing a few areas of the room that needs progress.
As you can see by the pictures, there are some more things that I gotta put away. Anyway, it will all be set soon. Just gotta keep thinking positively! :D

Just me, smiling for the camera. :)

Anyway, that's it and hope you guys had a Happy Easter! :D Here's the latest video about the move.

Hello everyone,

You know how sometimes there are things that motivate us in life? It can be anything from being inspired from someone you've met or just anyone on television or movies. Well, for others with disabilities, they don't stop in doing what they love doing, let's use Lola Walter for example. She was born with a condition called "nystagmus." This causes her eyes to shift and usually sees double which makes it impossible for her to focus. But this amazing and brave teen just keeps doing what she loves doing and doesn't stop her from trying. She doesn't compare herself to other people so she wants to be treated as equally as others.

When asked "Would you like to say something inspiring to my viewers?" Her answer was simply, "Keep Trying." :D

Here's a photo of me with Lola and her mother Beth before the Long Beach Gymnastics meet.

Here's a little video during my meet with Lola. :)

Have you ever smiled at someone and they smiled back? Has anyone ever smiled at you and it made you feel good? Sometimes passing by a complete stranger and giving them a smile or them giving you a smile makes either person feel good. I feel that this is something everyone needs especially if a person is going through something or if they just need uplifting. Sometimes the littlest things count including just a simple smile. Of course not everyone will feel that way, but it's worth a try. I know I get that nice feeling when a stranger passes by me and smiles because it really just brightens up my day. :) So try it and give someone a smile.

Hey guys. for the past month or so, I discovered a pink tree outside of my office door. My co-workers and I didn't know what it was but assumed that it was related to Dr. Seuss. Well, looks like recently a poster of a new upcoming movie was posted called "The Lorax." This pink tree is actually featured in that movie and it is in fact a Dr. Seuss film. This prop was used when Danny DeVito was doing the introduction for the movie.

I took some photos of the tree since it is still in my office at this moment. Hehe..

Here's a preview of the movie:

Hello everyone!

It's not everyday that you'll see something unique, fun, and exciting! Last year, I had an opportunity to cover this amazing experience. Have you ever seen those James Bond type of gadgets? Well imagine seeing an actual Jet Pack that can make you fly! :) I had gone to Newport Beach last year to witness a person soar through the air with a Jet Pack. It is called "JetLev," abbreviated for Jet Levitation. Looks like theres about 10 at the moment that are available in different parts of the world. The source of it's power is actually from a JetSki that has been modified. Tubes are harnessed to the actual Jet Pack itself that releases tons and tons of water power. Raymond Li is the developer of this awesome breakthrough!

JetLev has released it's jet pack throughout different locations such as Lake Havasu, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii and Florida in the U.S., and in Germany and Singapore internationally.

The Amazing JetLev from CreativeSoul on Vimeo.

Here are some photos I took during my visit in Newport Beach, California.

The company offers lessons and rentals for $250 per day. Owning one will cost you about $100,000. Check out their website at: http://www.jetlev-flyer.com/ Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed this blog. Have a great and happy weekend!

Sincerely,
Kits

Hey guys,

I know I haven't written about IMATS in depth but I just wanted to acknowledge that part of production is definitely the art of makeup. I had gone to the International Makeup Artist Trade Show in Pasadena on June 25-26, 2011. It was one of the most interesting conventions that I've been to. They offer a variety of makeup in different brands and also features many ways of utilizing it. Not sure if I had mention that correctly but makeup really creates something artistic to the extent of regular daily makeup. It's quite exciting for me since they even had special effects makeup creating different creatures including monsters, and some just went out of their way creatively. Here are a few photos taken by me at the event:

Not only that I've seen different creatures but I also bumped into many familiar beauty vloggers from YouTube. :D I got to meet Josh (Petrilude), Judy (Itsjudytime), Jarmaine (Jlovesmac), and even Kandee Johnson. Kandee is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. As you can see in the photo, she was genuinely sweet and really wants to meet her fans. :) During that moment, I had told her, "I'm not leaving until I meet Kandee Johnson!" Then she replied, "Well you're not leaving until I meet you!" :) Hehe.. Just a really sweet moment. She has been a true inspiration to so many, even those who aren't beauty gurus/vloggers.

Anyway, I wanted to thank my friend Lindsey for letting me know about this event. If she didn't tell me about it I wouldn't have known. Here are my friends Lindsey (left) and Christina (right) at IMATS.

To see more photos of IMATS you can watch my original vlog here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xll1_D2LGLc
